Usually I don't mind the snow. Living in St. Louis, Missouri the snow seasons are light here. It is nothing like the volume of snow that places like Chicago or New York get. The snow here is light and melts away pretty quickly. I like for the snow to be enough to make a snow man and maybe sled down a small hill and then go away. Actually, I still have not tried sledding yet. One of these days I will.
The snow lately has been a little on the annoying side. As soon as the snow melts completely away, then another batch of snow comes and gives us 6 inches to drive through. It gets annoying to let the dog outside only to have to wipe his paws with a towel each time he comes inside.
Another part to this snow frustration is our fireplace. We have a friend who knows how to set up our fireplace to have the gas log insert. So the snow is putting off when exactly he can come over and put that together. In order for him to install it all and get it fully working; the snow needs to melt away... and also be a little warmer for him to do some of the installation outside. UGH! There hasn't been a long enough break in between snows to get him out here and fix up our fireplace.
I'll post some pretty snow photos soon...
