Watch out, there must be something in the water, because people I know all around me are having babies, and I mean right now this month or the next they are due. All of the sudden (well 8-9 months later) they are all due about the same time!
My dear friend, Suzy, from grade school is probably in labor now; or she is at the grocery store and they are announcing over the intercom, clean up on aisle 7, because her water just broke? She was due the 26 on Tuesday. Any minute now for her, she will be giving birth to a beautiful baby. I do not know, maybe she had her baby last night? I need to find out more and check her MySpace, or better yet I will call her. If she just had a baby, I don’t think she would have time to put an update on MySpace.
Then my cousin Dan and his wife, Anna are expecting their first child. She is almost 8 months pregnant! I am not sure on their due date, I need to call them also and congratulate them.
Also my wonderful sister-in-law, Kyoung is about to pop in a couple of weeks! Kyoung and Jordan are expecting their first child as well. She will be due on October 13th which is a Friday this year, ooh? Maybe I am superstitious but Friday the 13th is considered a bad luck day. God is watching over them and will make every thing work out. The 13th is JUST a due date, not a definite date of birth, maybe my little nephew or niece will be born on the 12th or 14th instead? If he/she is born on the 13th, then this day from here on out will be known as a good luck day! Why is Friday the 13th bad luck anyway? Who started that? Some superstitions’ are silly when I take time to look at them. Knock on wood everything goes well with my little niece/nephew due on the 13th. =)
Lastly, I have been temping at different offices filling in where companies need me here and there. One temp job is for a maternity leave for their receptionist. I hope to get this temp job, because it is for 10 weeks while she would be out for maternity leave. This is just one more person I know of who is pregnant and having their baby any day now.
A total of four people all due with in a month’s time. Oh wait I almost forgot! Our friends, Janie and Michael, are paper pregnant (adopting); their paper work is all complete and now they are waiting for a baby girl to arrive from the stork, and soon they will have their first baby also.
So you see, everyone around me is having babies, and I am itching to have one now too! As I mentioned earlier something is in the water, and I want to drink it. I want to be a mommy and for Andrew to be a daddy. Ideally though, we have to wait a little bit longer. Currently I am finishing my last two classes to finish up school, and applying for full time jobs, and we also want to buy a house first. THEN we can look at having a baby, when the dust settles from everything else going on all at once. =) I am usually patient, but when all I see and hear are due dates popping up, and my friends and family are all having babies at the same time, it gets hard to put the baby making off and I want to have one too! Why can’t I drink the water?!
Feel free to leave comments at the end of a post, I enjoy reading the comments. This is a chance for me to connect with my friends and family. My blog is all over the place with different topics, hence the title. I write about what ever is going on currently in my life, or about random thoughts and observations. My Blog is my public diary.

Poor Popeye!
What is Popeye going to do with out his spinach!? I am amazed how this E. coli spinach has reached 20 states or something? Each time I listen to the news it changes with updated information on this mess. I just bought a salad bag of spinach last Sunday (Sept. 10th)! About a day or so before this all happened. I was at the grocery store, in the produce area, and Andrew was saying how we don't eat enough salad, and need to get some, so I bought a bag of spinach salad, and a bag of mixed greens to get us started on the salad route. THEN the spinach thing happens and the news is reporting to throw out any spinach you have in the fridge! There went our whole idea of trying to eat healthy and my love for spinach. I haven't had spinach in a long while, and all the sudden I want to eat it and can't! Popeye I feel your pain!

Summer Has Fallen
Strange how the season has changed right before my very eyes! I noticed some of the trees were sun-kissed with some yellow leaves on what once were full green. The end of the summer, the start of school days, yellow buses and yellow leaves. A few weeks back I was at Walgreens, right about the end of August and saw some bits of fall colors appearing on the new shipment sitting clustered together in a small section of the retail shelf. A hint of fall, while it was still August, and I am standing there in my tank top, looking at this "fall" merchandise, it dawned on me Summer is ending and Fall is beginning! YAY! I love this season! =)
The leaves turn and Mother Nature puts on her make up, and true fall beauty. I love the rainbows, and renewed life and all the warmth this season brings. I look forward to wearing sweaters again, and drinking apple cider. I really enjoyed the fall season last year, and look forward to it again. It is nothing I really saw growing up in California so I am enjoying it now, all around me the beauty of the season.
Another season changing is the sports from Baseball to Football. Now that I live in Missouri, I guess I am rooting on the Rams and the Cardinals flew on by, I didn't even get a chance to go to a game. Football is taking over now.
For the first part of living in the area, I kept coming across the phase "go cards!" and it took me a blond moment to realize it means "go Cardinals! (the baseball team!) Man did I feel dumb. So I went from Dodgers, to Reds, to Cards now. The football is fun too, I always liked baseball more. In Ohio is the big phrase was, "Who Dey?" for thier team The Bangles. I don't know the Rams phrase, I am sure a St. Louis local will tell me, or leave a comment and clue me in. LA doesn't have a foot ball team, so it was pretty much who ever you are rooting for, or who is playing in the super bowl that year. Now I have lived in states with football teams and it is very noticable, plastered all over the place with merchandise of the home team, and coworkers looking forward to Saturday going to the game and tailgating.
Seasons are changing, each unique with sports and in nature, both fun to live through which ever the season what ever part of the year. Right now it is the begining of Fall/Football Season, and I am loving it!

Pretty Rainbow!
It rained earlier this week, in Missouri, and there was this beautiful rainbow in a complete arch from end to end. I didn't see a pot of gold but took these photos to share on my blog.
There is a phrase, "every cloud has a silver lining." This rainbow appeared just at the right time. I was grocery shopping on a sunny, clear, day. After I was done shopping, I went out to the car with my cart full of groceries and it was POURING RAIN, I quickly loaded the bags into the trunk, and got all wet in the process. I got home and had to then get out of the car and get wet again trying to grab all of the bags to take up to the apt. I could not bring all of the bags up in one trip, so I had to make two trips with the groceries. Heading back to my car for the last couple of groceries, the rain was letting up and I saw this BEAUTIFUL rainbow, quickly took photos of it and grabed the rest of the groceries. The rainbow was my silver lining on standing out in the pouring rain and getting soaked bringing my groceries home. Seeing the magical rainbow made eveything ok and not as bad.
