Check out this cool clip on a GM Car that has been prototyped as a future in cars. It is beyond any car so far, and amazing to see. A future in cars, possibly the next generation will be driving in 2020? COOL! This makes me want to fast forward in time and buy one of these vehicles.
First off, it is a right or left handed car, the steering mechanism (not a wheel) can switch to driver or passenger...HOW COOL IS THAT?! "You take over honey, I am tired from driving this road trip..." and passes the "wheel" over to the passenger to drive. The car does not have foot peddles; this is great for all kinds of reasons! The car has little TV screens to show the back view of the car, instead of rear view mirrors, and spacious windows, for better visuals while navigating the car...
THE MOST FUTURISTIC THING TO THIS CAR...is the option to change out the body of the 'car' to a 'truck' or two-door 'car' body, making the vehicle as adaptable to your current needs as you want to haul something off somewhere and need a truck...just change the body, with in a half hour!? Or you want to go on a day trip some where, switch out the body with the convertible body. ABSULUTLY GENIOUS!
To imagine this is possible and in the near future, where I can actually look forward to someday driving. This is more realistic in this future than driving a "flying car" in my lifetime. I can't wait to buy one, maybe in 2020 from GM? I am saving up my GM points! :)
